Crafted from locally salvaged Ontario Hard Maple, this slab features rich, darker tones you don’t often see in maple, spalting, and a stunning curly figure — the kind collectors refer to as tiger maple — that shifts and shimmers as the light moves across it.
At 1.75″ thick and 42-43″ wide by 71″ long, it comfortably seats six to eight and works beautifully as a dining table, kitchen island top, or a statement desk.
Every natural feature is thoughtfully preserved — grain variations, knots, and any bark pockets filled with clear epoxy to highlight their character while keeping the authenticity of the wood intact. Kiln dried to 6-8% for long-term stability, this top is finished with an epoxy and urethane topcoat and ready to pair with your own base or a custom base designed by our team.
