At URBAN TREE SALVAGE® you are able to personally select the actual material we will use to create your live edge piece, ensuring no hidden surprises from sight unseen purchases, as no two pieces are the same.
Whether you are selecting your table top set at our showroom or through our website, we take you through the entire selection process so you can feel confident with your purchase. With so many beautiful and unique solid wood slabs to choose from, we gather information about your space and requirements, to help us better narrow down your search.
As everyone is looking for a different species, size, color combination, we leave most of our table sets in the raw state (not joined, processed or finished) to allow us to customize to our client’s needs (size and finish).
Don’t be deterred by how the unfinished natural edge slabs can appear. Watermarks, stains and dirt are all part of the milling/ drying process and will disappear once they are further processed. The true beauty of the material is not too apparent in this state but they finish up nicely! You can see some examples of before and after images above.
